Dental implants replace missing teeth with a titanium root and a custom zirconia crown — fixed, natural-looking and built to last. Dr. Mona Adel, our implant and cosmetic dentistry lead with 16 years in practice, plans every case with on-site CBCT 3D imaging at our partner Haya Dental Center in Mohandessin. Indicative price from $600 per implant, all-in for the placement trip, with the permanent crown quoted as a separate stage — both confirmed after your online assessment.

Who this is for

Implants suit most adults with one or several missing teeth and enough jawbone to anchor a titanium post — the CBCT scan confirms both in one visit. Send a panoramic X-ray or photos of the gap on WhatsApp for an initial review before you travel; if you need a bone graft or sinus lift first, or your case is better suited to a staged plan, Dr. Adel explains this honestly, with no deposit taken.

What’s included in your CURE PASS price

Everything below is agreed before you travel, so the figure you see is the figure you pay.

  • Dentist fee. Dr. Adel’s consultation, the implant placement and her review of your case.
  • Imaging. The CBCT 3D scan used to plan your case precisely.
  • Implant components. The titanium implant itself and any temporary crown or bridge fitted the same day.
  • Accommodation. Five nights in a comfortable 4-star hotel near Haya Dental Center.
  • Transfers & coordinator. Every airport and clinic journey, plus an Arabic- and English-speaking coordinator throughout.

The permanent zirconia crown, fitted three to six months later once the implant has integrated, is priced and scheduled separately — either on a return trip or with a co-managing dentist.

Before you travel: what to prepare

These details let Dr. Adel give a genuine first opinion rather than a generic price.

  • A recent panoramic X-ray if you have one, or clear photos of the gap and surrounding teeth.
  • Any history of gum disease, diabetes or bone conditions affecting the jaw.
  • Whether you smoke, since this affects healing and integration.
  • Your passport details and preferred travel window.

Dr. Adel reviews this personally before confirming your CBCT appointment and a firm price.

Your day-by-day journey

  • Day 1. Arrival, hotel check-in, then a CBCT scan and a 3D surgical plan walked through with Dr. Adel.
  • Day 2. Implant placement under local anaesthesia (roughly 90 minutes per implant site); many full-arch patients leave with a same-day temporary bridge.
  • Day 3. Soft-diet recovery day with a check-in and clear care guidance.
  • Day 4. Bite check and any small adjustments, with an optional calm outing.
  • Day 5. Final review, your records and X-rays, and the transfer to the airport.

The titanium posts then need three to six months to fuse with the bone (osseointegration) before the permanent zirconia crown can be fitted — either on a planned return trip once integration is confirmed, or via a co-managing dentist near you using the records we hand over, with Dr. Adel available remotely throughout.

Recovery timeline and when you can fly

Initial soreness and swelling settle within about 5 days, and most patients fly home comfortably by day five on a soft diet. The bone-to-implant fusion that makes the result permanent takes considerably longer — three to six months — during which the temporary bridge or crown functions normally for everyday use.

Combining implants with other dental work

Many patients use the same trip to handle other dental needs — a check-up, a filling, or whitening for the surrounding teeth — since you’re already at Haya Dental Center with your imaging on file. Mention anything else on your mind on WhatsApp and Dr. Adel can quote it alongside your implant plan, so it’s one coordinated visit rather than several separate trips.

Risks and how we manage them

Implant surgery is well established, though risks include infection, a small chance the implant doesn't fully integrate with the bone, and — mainly in the lower jaw — temporary nerve irritation, or, in the upper jaw, proximity to the sinus. These are managed through precise CBCT 3D planning before any drilling, sterile protocol, and Dr. Adel's review of your scan before quoting a firm price.

How your treatment plan comes together

Nothing is booked until you have a written plan and a firm price in hand. Dr. Adel personally reviews your X-ray or photos before anything is confirmed. Here is what actually happens, step by step.

  • Step 1 — Send your details. Photos, scans or a short description of your situation, sent on WhatsApp.
  • Step 2 — Clinical review. Your case is reviewed and you receive an honest first opinion, usually within a day or two.
  • Step 3 — Written plan and price. A specific plan for your dental implants, with a firm all-in price — no deposit needed to receive this.
  • Step 4 — Book your dates. Your coordinator lines up flights, hotel and the clinic schedule around you.
  • Step 5 — Treatment and recovery. Roughly 5 days in Egypt, coordinated from arrival to departure.
  • Step 6 — Stay in touch. Remote follow-up continues once you're home, for as long as you need it.

You can pause or stop at any step — nothing obligates you to travel until you choose to book.

Indicative 2026 cost: Egypt vs the Gulf vs Europe

RegionTypical price, per implant
CURE PASS Travels, EgyptFrom $600 (implant, CBCT, same-day temporary, hotel, transfers) — permanent zirconia crown quoted separately
Gulf private clinics$1,800-$2,800, usually including the crown
UK / Western Europe, private$2,500-$4,000, usually including the crown

Figures are indicative for 2026 and vary with implant brand, number of teeth and whether bone grafting is needed. Your written quote sets out the implant stage and the crown stage as separate, clearly priced lines, so you can compare like for like; both are confirmed after your online assessment.

Questions to ask any clinic before you book

  • Which implant system (brand) is used, and is it internationally recognised?
  • Is a CBCT 3D scan included before you're quoted a firm price?
  • What's the warranty or guarantee policy if an implant fails to integrate?
  • If I need a bone graft, is that quoted upfront or discovered mid-treatment?
  • Who fits the permanent crown once integration is complete, and how is that coordinated?

Implants are quoted per case from your CBCT scan rather than as a fixed package — browse our full packages to see how our all-in pricing works, or the Smile Makeover Getaway if veneers also interest you. Frequently asked questions

Why are dental implants so much cheaper in Egypt? +

The implant systems and clinical protocol match international standards; the saving reflects lower clinic overheads and a favourable exchange rate, not lower-grade materials — CBCT planning and sterile protocol are the same as you'd expect in the UK or Gulf.

How many trips to Egypt will I need? +

Usually two: the first for scanning and implant placement (5 days), the second three to six months later once the implant has fused with the bone, for the permanent zirconia crown. A local co-managing dentist is an option for the second stage if a return trip isn't convenient.

Is the procedure painful? +

It's done under local anaesthesia, so you feel pressure rather than pain during placement. Mild soreness for a few days afterwards is normal and managed with standard pain relief.

What if I don't have enough jawbone? +

The CBCT scan shows this clearly. A bone graft or sinus lift can build up the site first, usually adding three to six months before implant placement — Dr. Adel explains the full staged plan and price before you commit.

How long do dental implants last? +

The titanium root typically serves for decades with good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups; the crown itself may need replacement after 10-15 years of normal wear, like any crown.

Can I get a temporary tooth the same day? +

Often yes for full-arch cases (All-on-4/6), where a temporary bridge is fitted the same day as surgery. For single implants, a removable temporary or adjacent-tooth solution is usually used while the implant integrates.
