For years Turkey was the default answer for affordable treatment abroad. But for many GCC and African patients, Egypt now makes more sense — and not only on price. Here’s an honest comparison.
Quality and accreditation
Both countries have excellent accredited hospitals and high-volume surgeons. Egypt’s clinical depth — particularly in vascular, dental and cosmetic work — is on par, and CURE PASS places every patient with a named surgeon at a center we directly co-manage, not an anonymous marketplace clinic.
Cost, language and recovery
Egypt typically comes in cheaper than Turkey on like-for-like packages, and for Arabic-speaking patients the care is in their own language end to end. The decisive difference is recovery: Egypt lets you heal on the Red Sea — Sharm or Hurghada — with warm, oxygen-rich sea air, something Istanbul simply can’t match.
