An abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) removes excess skin and fat and tightens the abdominal wall — restoring a flatter, firmer profile, often after weight loss or pregnancy. It is performed by our board-certified plastic surgeons in an accredited Cairo theatre, with one supported night in hospital.

How your journey runs

  • Day 1 — Arrival. Met in Cairo, hotel check-in, and a pre-op consultation with your surgeon and anaesthetist.
  • Day 2 — Surgery. The procedure under general anaesthesia, followed by one monitored night in hospital.
  • Days 3–5 — Early recovery. Move back to the hotel, with nurse checks, your compression garment fitted and gentle walking encouraged.
  • Days 6–8 — Review. A wound check and clearance, with calm rest by the Red Sea an option once your surgeon approves.
  • Departure. A final review, written aftercare and the transfer to the airport — typically around day 9–10, confirmed by your surgeon.

What’s included (all-in)

  • Abdominoplasty by a named, board-certified plastic surgeon

  • Aftercare guidance and remote follow-up

Am I a candidate?

A tummy tuck suits stable-weight, non-smoking patients in good general health, ideally after completing any planned pregnancies. Share your history and photos on WhatsApp; your surgeon advises what’s realistic before you travel. If a different procedure — liposuction alone, or a staged plan — fits you better, we’ll say so honestly, with no deposit taken.

Aftercare

You wear the compression garment, keep up gentle walking and avoid strenuous activity for several weeks while you heal, with your surgeon reachable remotely throughout recovery.

Frequently asked questions

Why does a tummy tuck cost less in Egypt? +

It’s the same board-certified surgical standard and accredited theatre, with lower overheads and a favourable exchange rate — bundled with your hospital night, hotel and aftercare into one transparent price.

Do I need to stay overnight in hospital? +

Yes — one monitored night is part of the plan after surgery, included in the package. You then move back to your hotel for the rest of the supported recovery.

How long is recovery and when can I fly home? +

Most patients fly home around day 9–10 once their surgeon clears the wound. You wear a compression garment and avoid strenuous activity for several weeks as you heal.

Can I recover by the Red Sea afterwards? +

Once your surgeon clears the wound, a calm Red Sea stay is a gentle way to spend the later recovery days — gentle walking only, with no strenuous activity or swimming until approved.

What if I’m not a candidate for a full tummy tuck? +

Your surgeon will say so honestly from your history and photos and may suggest a mini tummy tuck, liposuction alone, or a staged plan — discussed before any deposit is taken.
