Advanced cardiac surgery

Cardiac surgery is one of WADJET's main areas of focus, through coordination with doctors and teams specialised in cardiac and thoracic surgery and advanced cardiac interventions. The cases handled include beating-heart surgery, as well as cases that may be suited to limited-access, mini-incision techniques — according to medical evaluation and the treating team's decision. WADJET organises the case journey from file and test review, through medical evaluation and the choice of team and facility, to scheduling appointments, procedures and the follow-up linked to the treatment plan.

Oncology

Cancer care is one of the key specialised healthcare programmes WADJET manages. These cases often need coordination between several different medical specialties, alongside a careful review of reports, scans, laboratory tests and pathology before the treatment path is set. WADJET coordinates access to specialist doctors and medical centres and organises the stages of evaluation, appointments and treatment procedures according to the plan set by the medical team — including, where a case needs it, access to the advanced treatment options and technologies available in Egypt. The final medical decision rests on an independent specialist evaluation of each case.

Organ transplant programmes

Organ transplant programmes are among the most complex healthcare programmes, given the precise evaluations, multiple procedures and full compliance with the governing medical and legal controls that they require. In this field, WADJET's evaluation work and file management are carried out strictly within the applicable medical and legal frameworks: WADJET manages and organises the medical file, clarifies the requirements involved, and coordinates with the competent bodies and medical teams so the case can be evaluated according to the medical and legal procedures and frameworks in force. Every transplant case proceeds only under Egyptian law and on the treating medical team's independent assessment — WADJET does not offer, arrange or guarantee a transplant. The company recognises that a transplant journey is not limited to the surgical procedure itself; it includes multiple stages, from evaluation and tests through to the medical procedures and the follow-up that comes after.

Orthopaedics, joints and spine

WADJET's programmes also include specialised cases in orthopaedic, joint and spine surgery. Each file is handled according to its own nature: reports and imaging are reviewed first, the case is then referred to the appropriate specialty, and the stages of evaluation and the procedures required are defined. Depending on the medical diagnosis, these cases include joint surgery, joint replacement, some complex spine cases, and injuries requiring specialised surgical intervention.

The medical file is received and reviewed first, reports and available tests are organised, and WADJET identifies whether any additional documents or evaluations are needed. Coordination then begins with the right specialty and medical facility, and the first steps of the journey are arranged.

This advance planning gives the patient a clearer picture of the expected path and helps organise time, appointments and procedures more efficiently. On arrival in Egypt, WADJET continues to manage medical coordination and follow appointments and procedures through the treatment journey, up to the required follow-up stages.
